Charter-clean by design — it honors the origin's robots.txt for our user-agent, identifies honestly, performs read-only GETs, and NEVER bypasses anti-bot/CAPTCHA/paywalls/login walls. ## Scope & limits
- Reads/renders ONE caller-supplied URL per call; no crawling, no proxy rotation, no anti-bot evasion.
- /read accepts HTML, Markdown, and plain-text pages only (PDF/images/JSON/binary are refused); 2 MB body cap.
- JavaScript-rendered /read pages are not supported yet (on the roadmap).
- You are responsible for your right to fetch the URL you submit.
